Twilio - Emburse Certify’s New Text Message Provider

Emburse Certify has partnered with Twilio to fulfill text message services offered throughout the Certify application. Depending on the company’s configuration, a user might receive text messages from Certify for any of the following reasons:

  • Password Recovery
  • Multi-Factor Authentication
  • Inquiry Alerts*
  • Disapproval Alerts*

*Setting controlled at the company level

By switching to Twilio, users will enjoy more international coverage and higher reliability compared to our previous provider.

End user functionality and business logic are not changing as part of this switch. Users will not see any changes in the frequency at which they are notified via text unless personal or company settings are modified.

Certify Payments  - Onboarding Improvements for Users in India

Certify Expense has improved the process for users to add their bank account details, specifically for users with a Financial Institution located in India. Previously, Certify was instructing Indian users to enter their bank’s routing or sort code, which is not the preferred term for Indian banks. Instead, we’ve adjusted the terminology to ask the user to enter their bank’s IFSC number, which is specific to the Indian banking network. This change should eliminate user confusion and ultimately decrease the frequency of failed payments due to incorrect baking information.
