Resetting a User's Password

Certify Administrators can quickly reset a user's password and send them a temporary password so that they can log into Certify as needed.

1. On your Certify homepage, select the gear icon. On the System Configuration page, select Manage Users

2. On the Manage Users page, use the search bar to find a specific user, or use advanced filters to find a group of users. 

3. To open the User Details page, click the tri-dot icon next to the user.

4. Click Temporary Password from the dropdown menu. 

5. A popup window appears. Enter a new password in the Temporary Password field and click Save

The user's password will be set to the temporary password that you input. Share the temporary password with the user so that they can log in to Certify and reset their password.

An automated email will NOT be generated through this process; you will need to find a way to communicate the new temporary password to the user.
