Assigning the Treasurer Permission

Organizations that use Emburse Pay require a final approval step before approved expense reports and invoices are released for ACH processing. A user with the Treasurer permission releases these payments to Emburse's payment partners for processing.

As an Emburse Professional administrator, you can assign the Treasurer permission to a user.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged in to Emburse Professional as an administrator.
  • Your organization uses Emburse Pay.

Assign the Treasurer Permission

  1. On the Emburse Professional home page, select Settings.

  2. Select Manage Users.

  3. On the Manage Users page, enter the user's name in the search box.

    If the user does not exist, select New User and create the user before you continue.

  4. Select the More Actions button next to the user.

  5. From the dropdown menu, select Edit User.

  6. Check Treasurer.

    The Treasurer option appears only for organizations that use Emburse Pay.

  7. Select Save Changes.

Result

The Reimbursements folder appears on the user's Home page. Approved expense reports and invoices route to this folder after processing. The Treasurer can then release each payment for ACH processing.
