Use the Emburse Professional mobile app to capture and upload receipts directly to your Emburse Wallet. Receipts added in the mobile app sync to your online account.
Prerequisites
- You have the Emburse Professional mobile app installed on your Android or iOS device.
- You can log in using your Emburse Professional credentials.
- You have an active internet connection to sync receipts.
Capture a Receipt Using Your Camera
- Open the Emburse Professional mobile app.
- Log in using your Emburse Professional username and password.
The Home screen displays.
- Tap the Camera button.
- If prompted to allow access to the camera, Tap Allow.
- Hold your device 6–12 inches from the receipt.
- Ensure the receipt fills the screen and appears clear.
- Tap the Photo button to capture the image.
- Tap Done.
A preview of your receipt displays on the New Expense Item screen.
Emburse AI begins reviewing your receipt to autopopulate the fields.
- Once Emburse AI completes autopopulating the available fields, review and add any additional information.
To stop Emburse AI scanning and enter data manually, tap into any field.
If your organization uses Emburse Assurance, the mobile app may display a proactive alert while you capture a receipt. Review the alert before you tap Save Expense. Correct the issue while you still have access to the receipt. For example, you may need to replace a non-itemized receipt with an itemized version when your policy requires it.
- Tap Save Expense.
The receipt uploads to your Emburse Wallet.
Add a Receipt from Your Photo Gallery
- Open the Emburse Professional mobile app.
- Log in using your Emburse Professional username and password.
The Home screen displays.
- Tap the Camera button.
- If prompted to allow access to the camera, select Allow.
- Tap the Gallery button.
- Select a receipt from your photo gallery.
- Tap Done.
