Certify Mobile 3.1.0

A new version of Certify Mobile has begun rolling out to the Apple App and Google Play stores! This new version of Certify Mobile includes significant performance enhancements, as well as support for some upcoming feature enhancements.

Included in this version is additional support for mobile invoice capture (for customers using Certify’s legacy Invoice solution). Users can now enter all necessary invoice information required for submission. This includes fields to select the applicable invoice vendor, the invoice due date, and invoice number.

Additionally, this version of Certify Mobile resolves a previous issue that has prevented some users from viewing PDF receipts in their Wallet in the past.

Certify API Updates

On March 25th, we will be adding the ExpenseCategoryID field to the GET /expenses call in the Certify API. By adding this field, customers can use this ID as a reference to pull additional information about an expense category by using the Expense Categories call.

Improved Error Messages in Reimbursements Queue

Previously, if an Invoice Vendor was missing required information for a particular payment, we would show the user an error message and ask the Treasurer to correct the issue. However, the error messages were quite generic, and in some cases did not provide enough context for the user to make the necessary corrections.

To improve error handling, we’ve customized the error messages to give Treasurers the context they need to self-resolve any payment issues. Treasurers will now be provided with detailed instructions on how to correct any errors preventing payment, and ultimately reimburse the employee or vendor.
