Capturing the API Key

After Certify has enabled the API for your company, you will need to grab the API Key to send API data requests. This article shows you, a Certify Administrator, how to grab the API Key. 

Step 1: After clicking the gear icon, click Manage Certify API Key.

Step 2: The API configuration page opens. Click the Create New Credentials button to generate a new set of API credentials. A box will appear with an API Key and an API Secret

Step 3: A box will appear with an API Key and an API Secret. Click Generate New Secret to reveal the new secret in text form. 

Please note: After the secret is generated it will not be visible again and, if lost, you must generate a new secret.
